Head Coach
Chris Willis became the head coach of the Davidson volleyball program at the start of the 2011 season. He is currently in his 15th season as head coach. Willis capped off one of the strongest four-year periods in program history at the end of the 2024 season. Over the last four years, the Wildcats posted a 72-49 overall record and 46-24 conference regular season record. The 'Cats finished fourth in the A-10 during 2023, led by senior libero Bella Brady, who captured her third consecutive Libero of the Year honor from the conference. In addition to Brady's major award and First Team All-Conference honors, Willis also coached Sola Omonije '24 and Elena Garcia-Guerrios '27 to Second Team and All-Rookie honors, respectively. During the 2022 campaign, the Saint Louis native guided his program to arguably the most successful season in school history. Assistant Coach
Christian Prayer was hired as an assistant coach of the volleyball program during July 2024. A three-year standout on the Lewis University men's volleyball team, Prayer served as team captain of the Flyers in his final season, while also being awarded Team MVP and Second Team All-Conference honors from the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association. While serving on the Student Athlete Advisory Committee during his time at Lewis, Prayer also worked as an assistant coach with the Missouri Volleyball Academy since May of 2020. Most recently, he transitioned into a collegiate recruitment advisor role with the club in 2022. Prayer graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Lewis in May 2024, after beginning his collegiate career at St. Francis College in Brooklyn Heights, NY.

Evan Simon
Evan Simon is in his second stint as Davidson's Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. Simon was previously the head strength and conditioning coach with the Wildcats from 2004-2006. "It is great to be back at Davidson College," Simon said. "My wife and I could always see ourselves returning to this great area. I look forward to working with our student athletes and helping them grow and develop through a collaborative training plan with all areas of this great department." "We are thrilled to have Evan back in this key position on our staff," former Director of Athletics Jim Murphy said of Davidson's newest addition. "His familiarity with our operations and community will move him quickly along the learning curve." Simon was most recently the head football strength and conditioning coach at Oregon State, where he served with the Beavers since January 2015. Prior to OSU, Simon spent two years as the head strength and conditioning coach at Wisconsin, helping the Badgers to New Year's Day appearances in both the Capital One and the Outback Bowl. Before Madison, Simon was the director of strength and conditioning at Utah State from August 2009-January 2013, and before that, served as an associate director for the strength and conditioning program at Utah, where he was part of a staff that went 13-0, defeated Alabama in the Sugar Bowl, and finished the season with a No. 2 national ranking, all following the 2008 season. Assistant Coach
Maddy Bilinovic joined the Davidson staff as an assistant coach in July 2025. Bilinovic comes to Davidson after finishing up her collegiate career at Creighton followed by a brief stint with the Orlando Valkyries in the Pro Volleyball Federation. During the 2024 season, she played in 35 matches with the Blue Jays and was the team's libero for every single set. She was named an AVCA Honorable Mention All-American, a Third Team All-American by VolleyballMag.com and landed on the All-Big East Team as well as the AVCA All-West Region Team. That 2024 squad made an NCAA Regional Final, the first for Creighton since 2016. Prior to the 2024 season at Creighton, Bilinovic spent four years at Penn State, where she played in 337 sets across 103 matches and helped the Nittany Lions secure 80 wins along with four NCAA Tournament berths. She recorded double-digit digs nine times during the 2023 campaign and served an ace on match point in a five-set win at No. 15 Kansas in the NCAA Second Round. Ove
