Biography

Dartmouth Athletics has announced the appointment of Jerry Hubshman Jr. as Senior Associate Athletics Director for Development, where he will lead all fundraising and stewardship efforts supporting the Big Green's 35 varsity programs, 36 club sports and intramurals. Hubshman is coming from Fordham University, where he most recently served as Senior Director of Athletics Development and Senior Associate Director of Athletics. In that role, he led a five-person development team, directed all athletics fundraising operations, and provided strategic leadership for major gift, annual fund, and capital campaign initiatives. At Fordham, Hubshman played a key role in securing transformational support for several capital projects, including a $2 million football locker room renovation, a $1.5 million campaign to enhance Water Polo operations, as well as secured funding for a sailing boathouse project. Prior to his time at Fordham, Hubshman spent five years at Hofstra University, where he served as Associate Director of Athletics for External Affairs, leading the department to a 111% increase in philanthropic revenue, a 303% increase in unique donors, and a 59% increase in corporate sponsorships. Hubshman began his career at his alma mater, Stony Brook University, where he was a member of the Seawolves football team and served as team captain.
