Head Coach
Curtis Madson completed his eighth season as the head coach of the Concordia University Wisconsin men's volleyball program in 2025. Since launching the program, Madson has steadily guided the Falcons forward, building a competitive foundation and achieving several program firsts. Under his leadership, CUW has earned postseason berths, individual accolades, and record-setting performances year after year. The 2024 season was highlighted by historic milestones. Lucas Beres became the first Falcon named NACC Defensive Player of the Year, ranking second nationally in blocks per set (1.203), and joined Spencer Herman on the All-NACC First Team. Herman, who led the league with 5.01 points per set, earned his third AVCA All-Region honor and shattered career records for kills (1,176) and digs (626). Logan Kebisek became the first CUW player to surpass 2,000 career assists, while Beres set career records in both solo blocks and block assists. In 2023, the Falcons posted a program-best 15 wins and finished third in the NACC with a 9-3 conference record. CUW went 8-4 at home, and three Falcons received All-NACC honors, including Herman and Beres on the first team, and Ben Kayser on the second team. Kayser also earned AVCA West Region Newcomer of the Year, while Andy Ellingham was named CSC Academic All-District. CUW won 12 matches in 2022, with Spencer Herman earning AVCA All-American Honorable Mention and AVCA All-Region honors. The program notched its first-ever postseason win in 2021
