Capital University Women's Basketball

Camille McPherson enters her fifth season at the helm of Capital Women's Basketball in 2025-26, looking to make big strides after a pair of very successful seasons in which the Comets reached the OAC Semifinals in back to back seasons. She ascended to the role of head coach in December of 2021 after serving as assistant coach for the first nine games of the season, making her the fourth head coach in program history. Prior to joining Capital, McPherson served as an assistant coach with Allegheny College, where she assisted in administrative tasks, coordinating recruiting efforts, and helped a program turnaround that included a five-win increase. She also served as Graduate Assistant for the Center for Career and Civic Engagement at Moravian College from 2017 to 2018. During her playing days at Moravian, McPherson served as a two-year captain and helped lead her team to a 2016 NCAA Tournament Appearance. She was named to the Co-SIDA Academic All-American team in 2017, was a two-time D3Hoops.com All-Region selection, a three time first team All-Conference honoree, and a two-time honorable mention All-American. She was also named the Moravian College Female Senior Athlete of the Year in 2017.
