Adam Stewart

Biography

Adam Stewart will enter his second season as the head coach of Capital men's lacrosse in 2026. Stewart returns to Capital after a brief stint leading the varsity boys lacrosse team at Granville High School as their head coach. Prior to his time at Granville, Stewart was on staff as an assistant coach at Capital during the 2023 season where he assisted the team in finishing 13-5 overall and improving from sixth to third in the OAC standings. Before his time at Capital, Stewart matured as a lacrosse coach at his alma mater Denison University spending a combined 10 seasons on the staff of one of the nation's premier lacrosse programs. There, Stewart aided in the mentorship of 11 All-Americans, five Conference Players of the Year and the only two 100+ point scorers in program history. Stewart has also served as a coach and director with True Lacrosse Club Ohio where he assists in the operations of the program consisting of more than 400 players, and spent seven years serving as the Director of Sales and Operations at The Lax Shop in Columbus. Recently, Stewart has begun his own organization called The GR8 TM8 Project. Stewart holds a Bachelor's degree from Denison University in Political Science and a Master's degree from the University of Missouri in Positive Coaching and Athletic Leadership.
