Fresno State had their second winning season under the leadership of Coach Rosen, finishing the year with a 16-14 record overall, 12-6 in Mountain West matches. After a challenging non-conference schedule, the Bulldogs picked up their pace of play in conference games and clinched the four seed in the six-team MW Championship in Las Vegas. In Rosen's second season, she coached four All-MW selections in Brooke Cowie, Dionii Fraga, Addison Haluska and Ella Rud. The Bulldogs defied the odds under Rosen’s leadership in 2023 after being selected last in the MW Preseason Poll and then closing out the season as tournament champions. Last Updated: June 1, 2025 Kelsey Lahey was named as an assistant coach at Fresno State in March 2025. Prior to Fresno State, Lahey spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Akron where she coached the liberos and pin attackers. While on staff with the Zips, she also directed all volleyball operations. In 2022, Lahey was an assistant coach at Georgia State University, heading up operations for the program as well as training passing and overseeing defensive systems. Additionally, Lahey spent one season as Marquette's Director of Volleyball Operations in 2021 where she directed all team travel, daily operations, and handled all technical duties of the program. She helped Marquette to an impressive 26-6 mark, including a 16-2 record in the Big East Conference before advancing to the NCAA Championship. In 2019 and 2020, Lahey served as the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at her alma mater, Marist College. Following the 2019 season, her first year as an assistant, Lahey was recognized by VolleyballMag.com as one of the top up-and-coming coaches in the country, spanning NCAA Division I women's volleyball, as well as beach volleyball and Division I and II men's volleyball. Lahey graduated from Marist College in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in political science. She ended her career at Marist sixth on the program's all-time kills list with 1,014 kills. PRIOR TO FRESNO STATE Arriving from the University of Florida after four seasons with the Gators, Catalan was the technical coordinator for the Gators from 2019 to 2022. Prior to his time in Gainesville, Catalan spent five seasons at LIU Brooklyn, where he served as both assistant coach and recruiting coordinator. His main duties were to head both international and domestic recruiting, assist with day-to-day practice planning, video exchange, breakdown of opponents and scouting reports. He would also organize team travel and meals. During his five years with the Blackbirds, he helped the team to a 90-54 overall record and four regular season NEC championships. The squad also won three NEC Tournament championships during his tenure. Under Catalan’s tutelage, the
