Larry Lee Head Coach • 24th Season Pepperdine '83 (Master's: Cal Poly '85) A new $10 million clubhouse. Record crowds. Nine 35-victory campaigns. Big West record holder for career wins, both overall and in conference games. Four NCAA regional bids. Nineteen top-four finishes in 22 Big West seasons. Those are the top accomplishments so far as Larry Lee heads into his 24th season as head coach of the Cal Poly baseball program in the spring of 2026. Said former Cal Poly Senior Associate Athletic Director for Development and Capital Projects Ashley Offermann, “Larry definitely helped with the fundraising and it was his vision that helped with the programming of the clubhouse,” which opened in 2020. “Larry also assisted with the other improvements throughout Baggett Stadium to ensure the improvements maximize impact and make it one of the finest facilities in the West,” Offermann added, noting the videoboard, backstop netting, expanded seating and press box and a new ticket booth. Lee has elevated the Mustang baseball program to a level of play that has reached the upper echelon of the NCAA's Division I West Region. From 2012-19, Lee guided the Mustangs to 268 victories, the seventh-highest total among the 24 California schools with Division I baseball programs.
