Adrianna Johnson

Biography

Adrianna Johnson, a Providence, Rhode Island native, established her coaching career at Brown University as a volunteer intern with Strength & Conditioning in the Fall of 2015 under the current Director of Sports Performance, Brandon O'Neall. As an intern, Johnson received responsibility over the Women's Golf and Equestrian programs in Spring of 2016 when she acquired her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Before her time in 2015 at Brown, Johnson served as a volunteer coach at Providence College and Conca Sport and Fitness in West Springfield, Massachusetts. In both positions, Johnson aided in implementation of programs and daily upkeep of facilities. After her volunteering stint with Brown, Johnson accepted an Assistant Athletic Performance Coach position at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in Pembroke, North Carolina in May 2016. During her one year at UNCP, Johnson designed and implemented strength and conditioning programs for Women's Soccer, Volleyball, Women's Golf, Women's Swim and Dive and Spirit Squad and helped with other teams as needed including Football. Johnson helped Women's Soccer go on to achieve a 12-4-2 record and win the Peach Belt Conference Championship.
