With nearly three decades of collegiate head coaching experience under his belt, Podbelski came to College Hill in July 2025 to join Frank Holbrook’s staff, who was one of his former players at Wheaton. Podbelski served as the head coach at Wheaton for the first 28 years of the program’s existence, starting with its inaugural season in 1998. During his tenure, he posted an 817-342-5 overall record, the 15th-most wins among active Division III coaches as of 2025, while his .704 winning percentage was seventh-best among active coaches. The Lyons also never had a losing season during that time, qualifying for all 25 NEWMAC postseason Tournaments, three 40+ win seasons and 14 campaigns with at least 30 victories. A model of consistency and excellence in his 28 seasons, Podbelski’s squads captured at least a share of 21 NEWMAC regular season titles, 17 tournament championships, made 18 NCAA Tournaments, and four trips to the Division III College World Series, including a pair of national runner-up finishes in 2006 and 2012. Wheaton earned at least a share of the NEWMAC regular season crown 17 years in a row, with Podbelski earning 12 NEWMAC Coach of the Year/Staff of the Year honors, six NEIBA Coach of the Year honors, and was selected as the regional coach of the year five times. As a collegiate player, Kelich remains one of the top pitchers in program history at Bryant, where he compiled 30 career wins, which still ranks second all-time, and remains the program’s all-time leader with 273 career strikeouts. He also sits third all-time with 335.2 innings pitched from 2010-2013. He was a two-time First Team All-Northeast Conference selection in 2012 and 2013, a two-time Rawlings All-Region honoree and was named the 2012 NEC Pitcher of the Year. Kelich was named the NECBL’s Reliever of the Year while playing for the Newport Gulls in 2012 and was honored as part of the Gull’s Hall of Fame Class of 2024. He was selected by the San Diego Padres in the 38th round of the 2013 MLB Draft and in his rookie season, Kelich was named the Arizona League Pitcher of the Year after compiling a 7-1 record with a 1.40 ERA, and 69 strikeouts over 58.0 innings. In total, he spent three years in the Padres organization. Kelich graduated from Bryant in 2013 with a degree in marketing. Over three years at Lehigh, Geer was the primary contact for women's basketball, track and field, and swimming and diving, while providing extensive support for football, softball, and men's basketball among other programs. He was the primary contact for Lehigh Softball at the 2017 NCAA Los Angeles Regional at UCLA and oversaw all communications efforts for the annual Paul Short Run, one of the largest intercollegiate cross country meets in the nation. He wrote numerous student-athlete feature stories for LehighSports.com, in addition to covering four swimmers that qualified for Olympic Trials, and three track and field athletes that earned All-America honors. Additionally, he provided extensive graphic design support, and was responsible for creating the department's hall of fame and facilities sections on LehighSports.com.
