Terarith Thay

Biography

Terarith Thay is in his fourth season as Associate Director of Sports Medicine for the Boston College Football program. In his role, he oversees injury and player data tracking, functional rehabilitation and various testing. Prior to coming to the Heights, Thay was the Assistant Athletic Trainer at Wagner College acting as primary athletic trainer for NCAA Division I men's lacrosse and women's soccer. He was named top assistant athletic trainer of FCS NCAA Division I football. Before going to Wagner, Thay served as the Assistant Athletic Trainer at Stonehill College from 2016-2020 acting as the Head Football Athletic Trainer overseeing all football related sports medicine responsibilities, and the primary athletic trainer for cross country and track and field athletes. During this time, he also acted as a clinical instructor for Bridgewater State University and Merrimack College. A multi-certified athletic trainer, Thay started off at Delaware State University where he was an Intern Athletic Trainer providing service to football and women's lacrosse. He earned his bachelor's degree in athletic training from Merrimack College in 2015 and later pursued a master's degree in sports management at Southern New Hampshire University in 2020.
