Maggie Barden

Biography

Maggie Barden enters her second season with the Boston College Football program, her first as Director of Player Relations after serving as Administrative Specialist in 2025. Prior to arriving at The Heights, Barden served as a full-time student athlete academic advisor at Bryant, where she worked closely with the football, women's basketball, men's lacrosse, men and women's cross country and track & field, women's soccer, men and women's golf, and men and women's tennis programs. She earned her bachelors degree in sports management with a minor in psychology from Springfield College, where she was also a member of the women's soccer team and a NEWMAC Academic All-Conference student athlete. Barden earned her masters degree in higher education and a graduate certificate in sports administration from Providence College. While at Providence, Maggie worked as a graduate assistant in Student-Athlete Wellness Services. While there, she developed a program for graduating student-athletes called "Transition from Sport," a program that laid the groundwork for student-athletes to begin the transition to a non-athletics focused life style. Originally from Swampscott, Mass., she formerly served as the general manager of the North Shore Navigators in the New England Collegiate Baseball League.
