In 14 seasons, he has guided the Cardinals to the 2025 and 2026 Mid-American Conference regular season titles, the 2025 Mid-American Conference Tournament Championship and a first round appearance at the NCAA Tournament in 2025. Sallee also steered the Cardinals to the NCAA's first-ever postseason Women's Basketball lnvitation Tournament (WBIT), nine postseason Women's National Invitation Tournaments (WNIT), a WNIT Final 16 appearance, a Mid-American Conference (MAC) West Division title (2014), 13 MAC Tournament appearances in Cleveland, Ohio, and nine 20-plus win seasons —a feat no head coach at Ball State had done before him. The progam's winningest coach with 264 overall victories, Sallee has etched his name into the Ball State women's basketball record books a multitude of times over his tenure. Record Breaking Seasons: The 2024-25 season was one to remember, the Cardinals ended another historic season under 13th-year Sallee which was led by MAC Player of the Year and Tournament MVP Ally Becki, the Cardinals captured their second MAC tournament championship in program history and trip to the NCAA Tournament. Over the course of Spencer's nine seasons on the coaching staff with Ball State, which began in 2015-16, she has helped the Cardinals to 210 wins, including Power-4 victories over Texas A&M, Pitt (twice), Vanderbilt, Purdue and Iowa. A former standout guard for the Cardinals from 2006–2010, Spencer has spent over 15 years on the coaching staff, progressing from Director of Basketball Operations to Assistant Coach, and finally to her current role in May 2022 as Ball State’s Associate Head Coach. King played a role in the program's first-ever consecutive MAC regular-season titles in 2025 and 2026. Her impact was also felt during the 2024-25 campaign, which saw Ball State capture its second MAC Tournament championship and face Ole Miss in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. King spent the 2022-23 season as the assistant coach at her alma mater Eastern Illinois, where she was a student-athlete from 2009-13. She played under the tutelage of Sallee for three seasons. As a player, King was a three-time Ohio Valley Conference Second Team recipient (2011, 2012 & 2013) and earned OVC Player of the Week honors on three separate occasions. For her career, she scored 1,440 points, pulled down 654 total rebounds and played in 128 games for the Panthers. After graduation, King spent nine seasons playing professional basketball in Europe. "So grateful I have this opportunity," King said. "It is a chance to do something different and make a difference." King joins fellow Ball State assistant coaches Casey Morrissette and Moriah Monaco along with associate head coach Audrey Spencer for the upcoming 2023-24 season.

Additionally, Monaco was instrumental in the record-breaking 2023-24 season, where the team achieved a program-best 28 wins and earned a spot in the inaugural WBIT. Monaco returned to her alma mater after serving as an assistant coach at Malone University for the 2020-21 season. Prior to starting her coaching career with the Pioneers, Monaco played professionally overseas for the BBC Residence Walferdange in Luxembourg. A two-time Second Team All-Mid-American Conference honoree as a student-athlete at Ball State, Monaco played in 126 games for the Cardinals, starting 96 of them. She would go on to lead the team in scoring (16.8 ppg) and blocks (49) as a senior. Monaco ended her career ranked sixth all-time in scoring (1,606) and in field goals made (567). She was fifth in field goal attempts (1,400), fourth in blocked shots (96), 15th in rebounds (623), second in 3-point field goals made (292), first in 3-point field goal attempts (821), tied for third in games play (127), and tied for 10th in games started (99).
