Andy Barry

Biography

Andy Barry was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Business and Finance in August 2015. Most recently Barry served as the Director of Business Operations for Cintas Center. Previously he was the director for premium seating and ticketing and oversaw all issues related to the suites and premium seats at Cintas Center for nine years. He also oversaw all athletic and non-athletic ticket operations, which include supervision of the ticket manager and his staff. Barry also for 18 years managed the licensing/trademark program. Initially, he has served as athletic ticket manager and as the assistant to Greg Park, Associate Athletic Director for Business. A native Cincinnatian, Barry came to Xavier in 1988 after spending two years in the Cincinnati Reds' Ticket Office. Barry worked as cashier in the Reds' ticket office, balancing daily, monthly and game deposits and working with the Ticketmaster computer system. Barry also spent one year as the vault manager in the Reds' ticket office. Barry received his master's of business administration from Xavier in 1994. He received his bachelor's degree in finance and economics from the University of Cincinnati in 1986.
