Head Coach
Kristy Curry, who led Purdue to the 2001 NCAA championship game, was named the seventh head coach of the South Florida Bulls women's basketball program in March 2026. A veteran head coach with 28 seasons of experience, Curry previously spent 13 seasons leading the Alabama women's basketball program, guiding the Crimson Tide to the NCAA Tournament in five of the last six seasons and posting 20-win seasons in each of the last five years. Before Alabama, Curry coached at Purdue (1999-2006) and Texas Tech (2006-2013). She is the only coach in women's basketball history to record 100 or more wins at three different Power 4 schools. Curry has compiled a 554-322 (.632) career record as a head coach with 16 20-win seasons and 21 postseason appearances (14 NCAA, 7 WNIT). She holds two NCAA Elite Eight appearances and four Sweet 16 appearances. A graduate of Northeast Louisiana University (1988), Curry started her coaching career as a high school coach in Louisiana before serving as an assistant coach at Tulane, Stephen F. Austin, Texas A&M, and Louisiana Tech under Hall of Famer Leon Barmore, helping the Lady Techers to a 92-11 record and two NCAA Final Four appearances.

Assistant Coach
Kelly Curry joined Kristy Curry's first South Florida staff as an assistant coach in April 2026. He came to South Florida after 13 seasons as an assistant coach at Alabama and had previously compiled 15 seasons as an assistant coach at Texas Tech (2006-13), Purdue (1999-2006), and Louisiana Tech (1998-1999). While at Alabama, Kelly Curry played a prominent role in the development of five WNBA draft picks, including three in 2025: Sarah Ashlee Barker, Aaliyah Nye, and Zaay Green. He also played a prominent role in the development of Jasmine Walker, who was selected 7th overall in the 2021 WNBA Draft. At Texas Tech, Curry helped guide the Lady Raiders to two NCAA Tournament appearances in seven seasons as an assistant coach. During his early career, he helped lead Purdue to three Big Ten Tournament titles and two Big Ten regular-season titles, as well as seven NCAA Tournament appearances, including the 2001 national championship game. Starting his coaching career at Louisiana Tech, Curry coached under Hall of Fame coach Leon Barmore for one season, helping lead the team to a 30-3 record and reaching the NCAA Final Four. Curry graduated with his bachelor's degree from Texas A&M in 1990.

Assistant Coach/Director of Player Development
Parker Lovett joined Kristy Curry's first South Florida staff as Assistant Coach/Director of Player Development. Before Alabama, Lovett worked in several roles at LaGrange College, including as a women's basketball student assistant coach, the director of creative content for the athletics department, and the president of the Sport Management Club. He was also a student-athlete on the cross country and men's basketball teams. As a student assistant coach, he led scouting reports, in-game substitutions, play calling and adjustments. His teams finished fourth in NCAA Division III in BLOB efficiency and 13th across all of college basketball. Lovett has also served as the Director of Creative Content for the Pacific and Navy men's basketball and worked as a camp coach for NCAA college basketball camps. He holds a bachelor's degree from LaGrange College and earned his master's degree from Alabama in 2026.

Sydney-Anne Cottrell joined Kristy Curry's first South Florida staff as an assistant coach in April 2026. Cottrell came to South Florida after three seasons as an assistant coach and director of video and creative content for Kristy Curry at Alabama, where she oversaw all filming operations during practices and games, organized video breakdowns and evaluations, and ran analytics. While at Alabama, she helped coach three 2025 WNBA Draft selections: Sarah Ashlee Barker, Aaliyah Nye, and Zaay Green. Prior to Alabama, Cottrell served as director of video scouting and recruiting operations at Elon University for one season under Coach Charlotte Smith. She also served as a graduate assistant and assistant video coordinator at Texas A&M during the 2020-21 season when the Aggies won the SEC Championship and made the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Tournament. A prolific shooter, Cottrell played Division I basketball at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi for legendary coach Royce Chadwick, beginning as a recruited walk-on and eventually earning a scholarship. She helped the Islanders to their first-ever Southland Conference championship as a senior and was named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll. Cottrell holds a pre-med degree from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and earned her master's degree from Texas A&M.

Adams was an associate head coach at three schools, including UCF (2022-23), Memphis (2021-22), and Wright State (2018-21). She helped guide Wright State to a pair of Horizon League titles and NCAA Tournament berths during her three-year tenure, including a second-round appearance in 2021. Adams served as an assistant coach for three seasons at Ball State (2015-18) and helped the Cardinals make three consecutive trips to the WNIT. Before serving as the head coach at Howard University from 2013-15, Adams spent five seasons as an assistant coach to legendary coach Joe McKeown at Northwestern (2008-13), where she helped the team reach back-to-back WNIT appearances. Playing college basketball at Arkansas for future Hall of Fame coach Gary Blair, Adams helped lead the Razorbacks to the 1998 Final Four and 1999 WNIT Championship.
