Under Dunbar’s leadership, the Spiders advanced to the A-10 title match for the second consecutive season, ultimately falling to VCU, 4-1, in the final. He also coached Andrea Campodonico, Lara Bakhaya, and Sofia Barbulescu to Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team honors, as the Spiders continued their rise within the league. The 2023-24 campaign saw Richmond finish with an 11-11 overall record and a 4-4 conference mark. The Spiders posted a 5-1 home record, 2-9 road mark, and 4-1 record on neutral courts. That season, Dunbar coached Campodonico and Carly Cohen to All-Conference First Team accolades and Leonor Oliveira to All-Conference Second Team recognition. Dunbar previously served as associate head coach for both the men’s and women’s programs in 2022-23, helping the women’s team to a 10-15 record and a pair of wins in the A-10 Championship.
