Ian Coffey enters his 12th season as the head coach of the North Florida swim program in 2025-26. He is only the second head coach in the history of the program. NOTABLE DATES Jan. 10, 2015: First two wins as UNF Coach vs. UNC-Asheville and North Carolina A&T. Feb. 20, 2016: Recorded the second highest team total in UNF history at the CCSA Swim Championship, Amy Taylor broke three school records, Coach Coffey was named CCSA Co-Coach of the Year. Sept. 29, 2018: Defeated Gardner-Webb for the first time in program history, 162-99 Feb. 23, 2019: Concluded the CCSA Championships with 15 swimmers in the finals, the best finish for the Ospreys in program history. Jan. 11, 2020: Defeated Georgia Southern in the final event in Statesboro for the first time in program history. Feb. 6, 2021: Set the pool record at Georgia Southern University with a time of 7:43.55 Sept. 25, 2021: First on-campus home meet at the newly opened UNF Competition Pool Complex. Feb. 16, 2022: 200 Medley Relay record set by Annie Fletcher, Julianna Graf, Ashley Cozad and Marcia Shaw at the CCSA Championships. Feb. 20, 2022: 400 Freestyle Relay record set by Ashley Cozad, Taylor Warren, Marcia Shaw and Ashley Kephart at the CCSA Championships, breaking a 10-year old record. Oct. 15, 2022: Secured the first home win at the UNF Competion Pool Complex against Georgia Southern. Nov. 17, 2022: Freshman Victoria Torres breaks the program record for the 100-yard breaststroke at the Gamecock Invitational. Feb. 18, 2023
