Head Coach
Cliff Cisar is the Head Cross Country and Track & Field Coach at the University of Omaha (NCAA Division I – Summit League), a position he has held since 2024. He previously served as Head Cross Country Coach and assistant Track & Field Coach from 2017-24, and in various assistant capacities from 2010-17. A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Cisar holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Nebraska-Omaha (2012). During his tenure at Omaha, he has coached athletes to 52 marks on the program's Top Ten list in Track & Field and all 60 times on the Top 30 list for Cross Country distances. Notable achievements include coaching Lauren Metzger to school records in the 3,000 and 10,000 meters and Kamryn Ensley to school records in the 5,000m. He coached Emily Johnson to a third-place finish in the 2019 Summit League Cross Country Championships and a 26th-place finish in the NCAA Division I Midwest Region championships, the highest finish in Maverick history at that time. Cisar also coached multiple All-Summit performers and helped establish a 4x800-meter relay school record in 2017. Prior to his full-time role at Omaha, he spent 11 years at Peak Performance conducting gait analysis and developing distance running training clinics in the Omaha area.

Assistant Coach
Saskia Pingpank joined Omaha as Assistant Coach of Women's Track and Field and Cross Country in September 2024, working under Head Coach Cliff Cisar. In the 2024-25 season, she coached and assisted athletes to 18 Top Ten marks in school history across the Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field season. During the Cross Country season, she contributed to and coached athletes to achieve Top 30 program marks in both the 5-kilometer and 6-kilometer events, with nine of those performances occurring in her first year during the fall 2024 season. Pingpank competed for Eastern Kentucky University from 2018-2024, contributing to the success of the Cross Country and Track & Field program. She specialized in the steeplechase and distance events ranging from 1500-meters to 10,000-meters, and competed in Track & Field in Germany, qualifying for and participating in the German National Championships across multiple years. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management with a Minor in Coaching from Eastern Kentucky University (2022) and a Master of Science in Exercise and Sport Science with a focus on Sport Administration from Eastern Kentucky University (2024).
