University of Missouri-St Louis Women's Swimming & Diving

Enters his eighth season as the head men's and women's swimming coach in the 2024-25 season. Prior to UMSL, spent two seasons as the assistant men's and women's swimming coach at Henderson State, where 21 school records were broken, three individuals and six relays qualified for the NCAA DII Championships and five All-American honors were earned. Began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at his alma mater, Truman State. Also has coaching experience with the Riptide Swim Club and the Woodson Estates Swim Club. Serves as a camp coach for the University of Florida Athletic Association, Gator Swim Camp. Swam at Truman State from 2009-13 where he was a three-time all-conference selection and a two-time team captain, holding school records in the 100 and 200-yard breaststrokes.

Kirchner is in his sixth year as an assistant with the men's and women's swimming programs and UMSL and in his 11th year overall in coaching. Before coming to UMSL
