Enters his 10th season with the women's golf program after being named Director of Golf Operations in 2016, and will also begin his 16th year overseeing the Tritons' men's golf program. Troy is a PGA professional who began working as a club professional in 1998, spending time in Hilton Head Island, S.C. and Kansas City, where he served as assistant professional at Wolf Creek Golf Club and Kansas City Country Club, and as Head Professional at Oakwood Country Club from 2007-08. He played collegiately at Oklahoma State from 1991-1993 and at Kansas State from 1993-1996, where he was a First Team All-Big 8 selection and twice named an All-American Scholar. After college, he spent 12 years in competitive professional golf on the Prairie Tour, Hooters Tour, and Golden Bear Tour, and competed in PGA Tour qualifying. As a PGA professional since 2001, he qualified for five National PGA Assistant Professional Championships and two National PGA Club Professional Championships, winning numerous section and national PGA events. He was awarded the 2007 Presidents Plaque by the Midwest Section PGA for his contributions to player development and growth of the game, and regained his amateur status in May 2013.
