Mitch Swee

Biography

Mitch Swee joined the University of Missouri Sports Medicine Staff in the fall of 2015. Swee’s primary responsibility is the athletic training services for the Tiger Wrestling Program. A native of Omaha, Neb., Swee completed his undergraduate degree from University of Nebraska, and went on to obtain a master’s at Oregon State University. After finishing his masters at OSU, Swee was added to the staff full-time and spent five years primarily covering wrestling and assisting with football. Swee is certified in Graston techniques and is a corrective exercise specialist. Swee is a Board Certified Athletic Trainer through NATABOC and licensed through the Missouri Board of Healing Arts to practice in the state. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, the Mid-America Athletic Trainer’s Association, and the Missouri Athletic Trainers Association. He and his wife Candice enjoy outdoor activities and reside in Columbia.
