Madeline Banic Coaching Career 2016-19 Tennessee Athlete 2020-22 International Professional Swimmer 2022-23 Tennessee Volunteer Assistant Coach 2023-Present Missouri Assistant Coach Madeline Banic heads into her third season with the Tigers ahead of the 2025-26 season. Banic joined the staff in June, 2023. In her first season with the Tigers, Banic oversaw a men's team that finished 27th at NCAAs, and had five athletes garner All-America honors. More specifically, the 200 medley relay team featuring Grant Bochenski, Ty Spillane, Daniel Wilson and Frederik Rindshøj claimed second-team All-American status following their time of 1:23.29 at the national championship. Overall, Missouri sent 11 athletes to the NCAA championship meets. Banic, a National Champion relay swimmer and 12-time All-America selection spent the 2022-23 as a volunteer assistant coach at her alma mater, Tennessee. During the 2022-23 campaign, Banic helped lead the Lady Vols to a second-place finish at the Southeastern Conference Championship and a Top 10 placing at the NCAA Women's Championship (eighth). The men's team finished third at the conference meet and seventh at the NCAA Championship. It marked the first time both programs earned Top 10 placings at the NCAA meet in the same season. She swam professionally at the international level for LA Current (2020), Energy Standard (2021-22) and Tennessee Elite in the International Swimming League, specializing in the butterfly events.
