Biography

Following stints playing professionally in Hungary and Mexico, Mississippi native Myah Taylor is entering her third season as the coordinator of operations for Ole Miss women’s basketball for the 2026-27 season. “I am excited to have Myah back in Oxford with her Ole Miss Family! Myah is a leader, winner, a hard worker and has always had aspirations to explore the operations side of athletics,” said head coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin. “When the opportunity presented itself there was no doubt in my mind that Myah was the best option! She understands the Ole Miss way, she will mentor our student-athletes and she will continue to impact the Oxford community in a positive way.” Taylor recently spent a season overseas with Vasas Akademia, playing in 24 games in Hungary’s top professional women’s league. In 24 games, Taylor averaged 8.4 points, 3.3 assists and 2.2 steals per game. Prior to Hungary, Taylor spent eight games with Freseras Irapuato in Mexico. Coming to Ole Miss as a graduate transfer for the 2022-23 season, Taylor was an instrumental part in leading the Rebels to its first Sweet 16 appearance since 2007. The Olive Branch, native paced the Rebels in assists with a total of 113 for an average of 3.6 per game. Taylor provided a key defensive presence for Ole Miss, with an average of 1.7 steals per game and came up clutch when needed.
