Assistant Coach (Sprints & Hurdles) - 3rd season Athlete Honors at Louisville • 6 All-ACC Selections (4 Indoor, 2 Outdoor) • 2 NCAA East Regional Qualifications • 8 Program Records • 2 Freshman Records Ronnie Williams joined the coaching staff at Louisville after being named an assistant coach for sprints and hurdles on August 18, 2023. During his time at Louisville, Williams has led the Cardinal sprinters to six All-ACC honors and two NCAA East Regional bids. 2025-26 Indoor Williams led Breanna Braham to a pair of program records during the 2025-26 indoor season, as the freshman set program-best times in both the women’s 300m and 400m to highlight Williams’ third indoor season leading the Louisville sprinters. 2024-25 Indoor Williams helped the Louisville sprints squad to a trio of All-ACC honors at the ACC Indoor Championships, led by Kiyah Yeast who placed fourth in both the women's 60m and 200m, setting a program record in the 200m in the process. Jaidyn Johnson also earned Second Team All-ACC distinction, capping off his freshman season with a fifth-place finish in the men's 60m at the conference championship meet. Outdoor During the 2025 outdoor campaign, Williams guided Kiyah Yeast to one of the best seasons Louisville has ever seen from a sprinter. Over the course of the season, Yeast set program records in both the women's 100m and women's 200m, while also clocking the seven fastest times in program history in the 200m.
