Katelyn Pestrichelli

Biography

Katelyn Pestrichelli joined the department on June 11, 2018. Pestrichelli came to Colorado right out of college and started as an intern in the equipment office; she was hired full-time in June 2019. She works specifically with women's basketball, soccer, tennis and men's golf programs. She earned two degrees in Sport Management from Florida State University, her bachelor's in 2016 and her Masters in 2018. She graduated Magna Cum Laude as an undergraduate, and with Suma Cum Laude honors as a graduate student. At Florida State, she worked as a student equipment manager for the soccer and softball programs from 2016-18. During that time, the Seminoles won two Atlantic Coast Conference soccer championships went on to the NCAA tournament, while the softball team claimed three ACC titles and the 2018 national championship. She was the graduate student manager for the latter, when FSU posted a 58-12 record and rallied to win the Women's College World Series after losing in the first round. She was born Katelyn Sadeghi on December 13, 1994 in Miami, Fla., and graduated from the University School of NSU (in Fort Lauderdale), where she lettered four years in both varsity soccer and lacrosse. She was a high school Academic All-American in lacrosse her junior and senior years in high school. Her hobbies include playing sports, baking and hiking with her golden retriever (Macey). She married Connor Pestrichelli in the autumn of 2019. The two welcomed their first child, Jace, in June 2023
