Biography

Jordan Dean, a Greenbank, Ont., native, comes to the banks of the Hudson after a stellar career at UMass. While at UMass, she set a new NCAA Division I single season record for draw controls and was a three-time US Lacrosse All-American selection. She finished her collegiate career with 645 draw controls, the most in UMass history and was a two-time captain. Internationally, Dean has represented Team Canada in multiple competitions. Recently, she has competed in the World Lacrosse Sixes Championships in Chengdu, China. The Canadian defenseman has earned two silver medals in international competition and was named to the All-World Team at the 2024 Box World Championships. At the 2019 U19 World Cup, she was the youngest member of the Silver winning team at 16 years old. Off the field, Dean was a member of the Student Athlete Council Committee (SACC) and was a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma Society. She also was awarded the Colin Hood Award, which honors two graduating athletes who have exceptional leadership and are committed to the success of their sport.
