Maggie Gallagher

Biography

Maggie Gallagher enters her second season as Associate Head Coach/Director of Recruiting ahead of the 2026–27 season. Gallagher brings a decade of experience across the Patriot League and MAAC, including championship-level success and national recognition for her impact on student-athletes. During the 2025-26 season, Gallagher played a crucial role in overseeing the Black Knights' defense, which finished No. 1 in the Patriot League and 13th in the nation in points allowed. She joined Army after a successful return to Lehigh University, where she helped guide the Mountain Hawks to a 2024-25 Patriot League Championship and 27-win campaign. Before that, Gallagher spent eight seasons as an assistant coach at Marist College, where she helped lead the Red Foxes to multiple MAAC Championships, an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2021, and a WNIT berth in 2018. In March 2021, she was honored as a WBCA Thirty Under 30 recipient. A Marist alumna, Gallagher was a standout student-athlete who helped guide the Red Foxes to three straight NCAA Tournament appearances. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Communications from Marist in 2015 and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Lehigh in 2020. A native of Stormville, N.Y., Gallagher brings a wealth of experience, a championship mindset, and a passion for mentorship to West Point.
