The Catholic University of America Men's Track & Field

Rahn begins his eighth year as the Director of Cross Country and Track and Field at Catholic in 2025-26. Rahn holds over 20 years of coaching experience. He spent six years as an assistant track and field coach at Moravian working with the sprinters, hurdlers and combined event athletes, where he coached athletes to 21 Landmark Conference records, 20 school records, 11 conference meet records, nine NCAA qualifiers and four All-Americans. Prior to Moravian, Rahn coached at Albright College for two years as the assistant track and field coach for hurdles and jumps, where he coached one NCAA qualifier and five school record holders. Under his leadership at Catholic, the programs have achieved numerous accolades including NCAA qualifiers, All-Americans, conference championships, and coaching awards. Rahn is certified as a USTFCCCA Endurance Event Specialist, IAAF Level 5 Elite Coach in Sprints and Hurdles, USATF Level 3 in Sprints and Hurdles, and holds additional certifications in combined events, jumps, strength and conditioning, and throwing events. Rahn currently resides in Columbia, Maryland, with his wife, Michelle, and their sons, Otto and Atlas.
