Associate Head Coach
Kevin O'Shea has spent the past 13 seasons as a part of the Texas A&M men’s tennis program and was promoted to Associate Head Coach on February 16, 2022. O'Shea previously served as the Assistant Coach for the past two years after spending five years as the volunteer assistant. He started the first six years on the staff as the Director of Operations. Since O’Shea joined the Texas A&M men’s tennis family, the Aggies have compiled 21 NCAA Tournament wins. Including the 2018 season, the Aggies have won at least 20 matches in each of the last five seasons and seven times in the last 13 years. Four times during the last decade, Texas A&M has hit the 25-win mark, winning 25 in 2010, 29 in 2011, 25 in 2014 and 27 in 2016. Texas A&M has had a remarkable run of six seasons in which a doubles tandem earned All-America honors. Since O’Shea arrived in Aggieland, the Aggies have produced 10 doubles All-American duos compared to just four tandems prior to his arrival. In addition to the doubles All-Americans, O’Shea has seen 10 players earn singles All-America recognition including a trio in the 2018 season, the first season in which multiple players have earned the designation in the same season in program history. Prior to O’Shea’s arrival in College Station, the Maroon & White produced eight singles All-Americans.
