Head Coach
Regy Thorpe '01, who has helped guide teams to Championship Weekend eight times, returned to his alma mater to become the fourth head coach in Syracuse Women's Lacrosse program history. Thorpe brings a wealth of coaching experience at the college, professional and international levels to the Orange, including 10 years on the Syracuse women's lacrosse staff. He served as associate head coach for five of those years. "I'm excited to come back home to Syracuse University. This is my dream job," Thorpe said. "I'd like to thank John Wildhack, Herman Frazier and the entire selection committee for giving me this opportunity. I'd also like to thank Amanda O'Leary and the University of Florida for the past four years. Now it's time to get to work to ensure the continued success of Syracuse Women's Lacrosse." Head Equipment Manager
Joshua Morrow joined Syracuse University Athletics as Head Equipment Manager in 2025. He brings more than a decade of experience in athletic equipment management, procurement, and operations at the Division I level. In his role, Morrow oversees the daily operations, budgeting, and inventory management for all Syracuse athletic programs, supporting student-athletes, coaches, and staff to ensure each team is fully equipped for success. Before joining Syracuse, Morrow served as the Director of Equipment Operations at Cornell University, where he managed equipment needs for 37 varsity teams, as well as the band, cheer, and recreation programs. During his time in Ithaca, he implemented new operational strategies to improve efficiency, facilitated major vendor transitions with Nike, BSN Sports, and CCM Hockey, and contributed to Cornell Athletics' overall brand development. Notably, he helped designed the Cornell Football black uniforms that were recognized as the 2024 UNISWAG FCS Uniform of the Year. Prior to Cornell, Morrow spent eight years at the University at Albany, including serving as the Assistant Athletic Director Head Equipment Manager, overseeing the equipment operations for football and men's lacrosse while leading the department's apparel transition from Nike to Under Armour. He also gained valuable experience with IMG Learfield (Penn State Property) and the Richmond Flying Squirrels, along with multiple roles within collegiate athletics during his undergraduate studi

Assistant Coach
Maggie Koch rejoined the Syracuse coaching staff prior to the 2025 season. She works with the Orange goalkeepers. It marks Koch’s second stint at Syracuse. She served on Gary Gait’s staff from 2008-11, helping guide the Orange to three conference regular-season titles and one BIG EAST Tournament championship as well as two appearances at NCAA Championship Weekend. Koch mentored ’Cuse All-American goalie Liz Hogan, who became the first player in program history to earn IWLCA Player of the Year honors when she was named Goalkeeper of the Year in 2010. Hogan was a four-time All-BIG EAST selection and the 2010 BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year. Following her time with the Orange, Koch served as the head coach at The Episcopal School of Dallas where she coached two-time Tewaaraton Award winner Charlotte North. She also served as the director of college recruiting/marketing and social media director for Grit Lacrosse Club, whose members include ‘Cuse alums Megan Carney, Morgan Widener and Evan Johnston as well as current junior Faith Wooters. Additionally, Koch was the general manager for the Philadelphia Force of the United Women’s Lacrosse League from 2017-19. This past season, Koch served as head coach at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Austin, Texas where she led the squad to the Southwest Preparatory Conference semifinals for the first time in school history. Assistant Coach
Former Syracuse standout Nicole Levy ’19 returned to her alma mater in July 2025 as an assistant coach. “It truly is an honor to return home to such an amazing program and what I would consider ‘my dream staff’,” Levy said. “This program means so much to me and I am excited to continue honoring the tradition of a creative and competitive environment!” Levy has spent the past three seasons as the offensive coordinator at Florida where she helped lead the Gators to the national semifinals in 2024 and 2025. In 2024, Florida led the nation in scoring offense (17.6 gpg.), points per game (26.48), scoring margin (+9.09) and shooting percentage (.550). The Gators set program records in goals, assists and points that season. Levy was a member of the 2024 IWLCA and American Athletic Conference Staff of the Year. The East Islip, New York native began her coaching career at Colorado where she served as the offensive coordinator from 2019-23. In addition to directing the offense, Levy coordinated travel plans and assisted in recruiting and constructing practice drills. Currently, Levy serves as an assistant coach for the U20 Ireland National Team, which she helped guide to a 10th-place finish at last year’s U20 Lacrosse World Championship. That finish was nine spots higher than the previous championship. “We couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome Coach Nicole to our Syracuse Lacrosse family! Administrative Assistant/Travel Coordinator
Theresa Bathen serves as the administrative assistant for the men's lacrosse program. She is in her 25th year at Syracuse University and her 17th working with men's lacrosse. In addition to her role with the lacrosse program, Bathen also coordinates team travel for the athletic department. In her first six years with the Orange, Bathen performed administrative duties for the women's basketball coaching staff and other coaches in the department. Bathen came to the athletics department in September 2000 after serving as a senior secretary at the Gebbie Speech-Language Hearing Clinic. Previously, she spent 15 years as an office manager, primarily in a medical setting. Bathen attended Niagara University and graduated from the Concorde Career Institute with a medical assistant and medical secretary diploma. Bathen has a daughter, Stephanie, and a son, Michael. She resides in Camillus.
