Anthony Bonaventura was promoted to head coach of Stevens wrestling, becoming the ninth head coach in program history. He joined Stevens in 2015 as an assistant and associate head coach after one season as a graduate assistant at Waynesburg University, his alma mater. In his first season as head coach in 2024-25, the Ducks claimed their fifth straight Regional Championship with three individual regional champions and six wrestlers qualifying for NCAA Championships, placing 18th overall with two All-Americans. Since his arrival, Stevens has captured conference championships each season, earned its first team trophy at Division III Championships in 2018 (fourth-place), and crowned its first national champion. Bonaventura has helped coach 24 regional and 44 conference champions and was named Regional Assistant Coach of the Year three times. He graduated from Waynesburg in 2014 with a bachelor's degree and earned his master's in 2015.
