St. Joseph's University, New York L.I. Men's Lacrosse

Matt Knote joins the Golden Eagles following an impressive collegiate career at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, where he served as captain of the men's lacrosse team in 2023 and 2024. During his tenure, the two-time All-American was recognized as one of the top players in the country, earning the prestigious Inside Lacrosse Top 50 player distinction, and was named the 2024 Atlantic 10 Goalkeeper of the Year. Following his career at UMASS, Knote signed on to play professionally for the Denver Outlaws in the Premier Lacrosse League. In addition to competing, Knote coaches with the PLL Play program where he provides instruction to leagues and camps nationwide. Knote, a two-time USILA Scholar All-American, earned his Bachelor of Science in Sport Management and a Master of Science in Business Analytics from UMASS.
