Shaun Morris

Biography

Shaun Morris just completed his eighth season with the Bobcats in 2024-25. He was promoted to Associate Head Coach in July of 2023 by Head Coach Tom Pecora. Morris has helped guide Quinnipiac to back-to-back MAAC regular season titles since taking over as Associate Head Coach. The Bobcats went 15-5 in league play during 2023-24, then followed up with another 15-5 MAAC record in 2024-25. Morris helped lead Quinnipiac to a record-breaking 2023-24 campaign, as the Bobcats set a new record for total wins (24) and won their first-ever regular season MAAC title. QU's 19-4 start over their first 23 games marked the program's best start to a year since the 1965-66 campaign. Morris helped pioneer a Quinnipiac offense that set a new record for total points (2,630). Quinnipiac went 15-5 in MAAC play once again in 2024-25, capturing the program’s second consecutive MAAC Regular Season Championship. The Bobcats went 20-13 in total, and QU went 12-2 at home during 2024-25. The Bobcats have advanced to the MAAC semifinals four times over the last eight years since Morris joined the staff. QU won a pair of postseason games to reach the semifinal round in 2017-18, then the 2021-22 Bobcats became the first-ever No. 11 seed in MAAC Tournament history to advance to the semifinal round.
