Biography

Matt DenBleyker was hired at Princeton as a Senior Athletic Trainer in 2023 and promoted to Assistant Head Athletic Trainer in January 2024. In this role DenBleyker serves as an Athletic Trainer for the Tiger Football and Women's Swim and Dive programs. Prior to Princeton DenBleyker worked at Wagner College as the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine from 2019-2023 overseeing the medical care for the football program as well as supervising the Sports Medicine Department. Prior positions include a stint as a Minor League Athletic Trainer with the Pittsburgh Pirates from 2015-2019 and as a Seasonal Assistant Athletic Trainer with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the 2014 season. DenBleyker graduated from Montclair State University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. He got his Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership in 2014 from Rider University where he also served as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer with the Broncs. He is additionally certified as an Emergency Medical Technician and CPR Instructor. DenBleyker lives in Hazlet, NJ with his wife Casey, daughter MacKenzie, son Patrick and dog, Charley.
