Associate Head Coach
Curl is entering his first season as associate head coach in the 2026-27 season. Curl returned to Athens after spending the past two seasons with Penn State, where he served as assistant coach for the men's and women's swimming and diving team, as well as the recruiting coordinator. During his time at Penn State, Curl designed workouts and season plans for the distance swimmers, while also assisting in training for all groups to help develop them as student-athletes. Curl directed all recruiting operations at Penn State, including outreach, relationship building, coordination of visits, and site contact and evaluation competitions. Over the past two seasons, Curl was a part of bringing over 50 recruits to campus, resulting in 22 commitments. Before Penn State, Curl was the assistant swimming and diving coach at Ohio, where he also served as the recruiting coordinator. Curl assisted in team management and administrative duties while also designing workouts and training plans for all athletes. He was a part of the staff that coached then-freshman Zita Szoke to the 2024 NCAA Championships, making her the first qualifier in over a decade. Curl led all the recruiting contacts and facilitated all on-campus recruiting events, bringing in 35 prospects, which led to 10 commitments, ranking number one in the MAC. Assistant Coach - Diving
Lemke is entering her fifth season with the Bobcats where she assists at competitions, practices and leads dryland conditioning. She will receive her Master of Fine Arts in Filmmaking in the spring of 2024. Prior to Ohio, she was a volunteer assistant diving coach for Bowling Green State University. Lemke received her Master of Arts in Theatre and Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Bowling Green State University where she was an accredited diver. During her collegiate career, she received the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Medal of Excellence, MAC Outstanding Senior, MAC Presidential Award, and MAC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete award. In 2021, she was the MAC Conference Honoree for NCAA Woman of the Year and was a College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of American (CSCAA) All American. During her career, Lemke was an NCAA Championship Qualifier, 5x MAC Conference Diving Champion, MAC Most Outstanding Diver, First Team All-MAC and an 8x NCAA Zones Qualifier. Lemke received many academic accolades as well, including 1A FAR Academic Excellence Award, Cheney Award for Academic Achievement, Bowling Green State University Medal of Honor and was Academic All-MAC from 2018-2020.

Assistant Coach - Swimming
During the 2024-25 season, Closson helped coached the Bobcats to a second-place MAC Championship finish, the highest since 2013. Ohio saw several school records fall throughout the season, including the 50-, 100- and 200-yard free, 100- and 200-yard breaststroke as well as the 200- and 400-yard medley relays and 400-yard free relay. Zita Szoke won the 50-,100- and 200-yard free events and Casadie DiBetta won the 100-yard and 200-yard breaststroke events. Norman also coached Allison Schrank, DiBetta, Szoke and Caroline Dunigan to a first place finish in the 200-yard medley relay. Gabrielle McKee, Emily Ellsworth and Dunigan received First Team All-MAC honors while Julia Strine and Morgan Brown received Second Team All-MAC honors. Closson comes to Ohio after spending time as the Lead coach for Mecklenburg Swim Association Indian Trail Advanced Age, Advanced Senior, Bronze, and Blue groups. While there, Closson implemented new training programs for all groups while increasing performance and overall group retention. He also collaborated with a Novant Health strength and conditioning coach to design a dryland program for Advanced Age Group swimmers. Prior to his time at MSA Indian Hills, Closson spent two years as the Lead coach for MSA Moss Creek Silver, Gold, and Senior groups, where he developed weekly, monthly, and seasonal training programs for each group of athletes to maximize performance.
