Ohio Dominican Athletic Director Jeff Blair has appointed Brianna Sims as the new head coach of the Panthers. Sims becomes the eighth head coach in program history

Macy Blankenship is in her 2nd year as an assistant coach at Ohio Dominican University in 2025-26, having been promoted to full-time assistant coach after serving as a volunteer assistant during head coach Brianna Sims' first season (2024–25). During the 2024–25 season, she contributed to player development, scouting, and practice planning while helping instill a competitive and disciplined culture in the early stages of the program's rebuilding process. Blankenship comes to Ohio Dominican after graduating from Ashland University in 2024, where she played from 2021–2024. As a standout player, she appeared in all 37 games during Ashland's 2022–23 NCAA Division II National Championship season, averaging 7.1 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game while shooting 46.1% from the field and 81.9% from the free-throw line. She earned Second-Team All-Great Midwest Athletic Conference honors in her debut 2021–22 season, averaging 12.2 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.3 steals per game while leading the team in field goal percentage (57.0%) and free throw percentage (87.0%). Before Ashland, she played at Bowling Green State University (2019–2021). Blankenship also had an accomplished high school career at Upper Arlington High School, where she set program records with 1,622 career points and 348 career assists, earned Second-Team All-Ohio honors as a senior, and was a four-time First-Team All-Ohio Capital Conference selection.
