Assistant Coach
Beth Miller has worked alongside head coach Emily Fletcher throughout her 17-year Northwestern tenure. During their time in Evanston, the duo has elevated the program to previously unseen heights, including the first national championship in program history in 2025. Under their direction, Northwestern has qualified for 14 consecutive NCAA Regionals (2010-24), appeared in nine NCAA Championships (2013-19, '23, '24), and won three Big Ten Conference crowns (2016, '15, '13). Between 2015-18, she helped guide Northwestern to four consecutive Top-10 finishes at the NCAA Championships, one of only three teams in the nation to accomplish the feat. The 'Cats have placed inside the top-15 at the National Championships in eight of their nine appearances since Fletcher and Miller joined the program. During her time with the program, Miller's Wildcats have earned: 21 All-America honors (WGCA/Golfweek) 54 All-Big Ten awards Seven Big Ten Freshman of the Year awards Four Big Ten Player of the Year awards Two Mary Fossum Awards 47 WGCA All-American Scholar nods 98 Academic All-Big Ten honors With Fletcher and Miller at the helm, the pairing has produced the Top-16 career scoring averages in the Wildcats record book, as well as the Top-25 single-season scoring marks in program history. Sport Administrator
Northwestern University announced the appointment of Pat Goss as Chief Operating Officer for Northwestern Athletics & Recreation in July 2025. A longstanding and accomplished figure within the Northwestern community, Goss led the golf program for decades and most recently served as Interim Senior Deputy Director of Athletics. As Chief Operating Officer, Goss is responsible for critical operational functions including the finance and business office, human resources, the general manager position, event and facilities management, sport administration, equipment services, and information technology. Goss also plays a pivotal role in ensuring comprehensive care for student-athletes by overseeing the partnership with Northwestern Medicine, sports psychology, and student affairs. Additionally, he continues his direct involvement with the golf programs, serving as the sport administrator for both the men's and women's teams. Goss brings more than three decades of comprehensive leadership and coaching experience within Northwestern Athletics. As Co-Sport Administrator, Goss provided comprehensive administrative oversight for Football and Men's Basketball, managing scheduling and related contracts, and acting as the Big Ten Conference liaison. Golf Health and Performance Specialist
Scott was originally at Northwestern from 1998-2008 and returned in 2018. He is responsible for the health and performance for members of the men’s and women’s golf teams. Scott is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado ’91, earning degrees in Kinesiology and Physical Education. He earned a Master’s degree from the University of Oregon ‘93 in Athletic Medicine and Human Anatomy. His professional interests include Ground Reaction Forces, Sports Science, and Performance culture and environments. He has been named one of America’s Best Fitness Trainers by Golf Digest year after year. He has worked with teams in MLB, NFL, PGA, and most recently, as the Head Athletic Trainer for the Milwaukee Bucks, NBA, prior to returning to Northwestern. Scott resides on Wauwatosa, Wisconsin with his wife, Elizabeth, and daughter, Lola. They have 3 cats, Zenya, Ross, and Cosmo.
