Tabbed as one of the nation’s top assistant coaches and recruiting coordinators, Chris Hart enters his 22nd season with the Wolfpack and 11th as associate head coach. He serves as the Wolfpack’s hitting coach in addition to his role as recruiting coordinator and is involved in all facets of the program. In his first year with the Wolfpack, first baseman Chris McHugh was named to the All-ACC Second Team and to the 2025 ABCA/Rawlings All-Atlantic Second Team, making it six straight years that NC State has had a player make the ABCA Atlantic Region Team. In 2025, McHugh led NC State in most offensive categories. The Commack, NY, native finished the year with a .365 average with a team-high 72 hits and 48 RBIs. In 197 at-bats, McHugh hit seven home runs and 12 doubles, with a .533 slugging percentage and a .462 on-base percentage after transferring in from VCU. Another Wolfpack standout in 2025 from Hart's recruiting efforts came in the form of freshman Ty Head. Head had 48 walks on the season, becoming the most walks by a freshman in a single season in program history, as well as the sixth most in a single season by any Wolfpack Player. Not since 2012, and Trea Turner, has a Wolfpack freshman had at least 40 walks in a season. Ahead of the 2025 season, the Wolfpack recruiting class was ranked 23rd in the nation by D1Baseball. Director of Player & Program Development
Longtime standout infielder and 2022 NC State graduate J.T. Jarrett returned to Raleigh to serve as NC State baseball's director of player and program development. Jarrett made 226 appearances and 193 starts in an NC State uniform from 2018-22, finishing his Wolfpack career with 33 doubles, 10 homers, 102 RBI and 103 runs scored. Defensively, he sported a career .980 fielding percentage with 302 putouts, 461 assists and just 16 errors. A key contributor to NC State's historic 2021 College World Series run, Jarrett started all 55 games at second base during the postseason, committing just two errors. He was named to the 2021 ACC All-Tournament Team and held a 16-game reached base streak from May 15 to June 12. A five-time ACC Academic Honor Roll recipient, Jarrett graduated in May 2022 with a bachelor's degree in sport management and minors in business administration and leadership. Before returning to NC State, he spent time at Mississippi State University's baseball program and served as assistant coach at Gulf Coast State College, where he earned his master's degree in workforce education leadership. A North Carolina native from Northern Guilford High School in Greensboro, Jarrett helped lead the Nighthawks to the 2017 North Carolina 3A State Championship as a senior and was named the most valuable player in the state championship series.

Associate Director (baseball, w. basketball)
Jenny Womack, Associate Director, joined ASPSA in the Fall of 2012. In her current role, she is the Academic Coordinator for Baseball and Women’s Basketball. She is also the Summer Start Liaison for ASPSA and the Athletic Department, as well as the facilitator for the ASPSA intern program. Originally from Long Island, NY, Jenny attended NC State where she graduated in 2002 with her B.S. in Middle Grades Education, and later in 2011 obtained her M.Ed. in Counselor Education. Outside ASPSA, Jenny also serves on the N4A Board of Directors as the First Vice President. Prior to joining the ASPSA team, Jenny taught in Wake County Public Schools for eight years. Jenny then transitioned to athletic academic support in 2010 as a graduate intern within ASPSA. Following her internship, Jenny worked as an Academic Coordinator at Elon University from 2011-2012. Jenny currently resides in Raleigh with her husband, Scott Womack. Outside of work, Jenny loves supporting the various Wolfpack teams when they compete, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying live music.

Dr. Rachel Conway is a Clinical and Sport Psychologist and serves as the Assistant Athletics Director for Mental Health & Performance Psychology at NCSU. Dr. C graduated with her B.A. from Luther College (Decorah, Iowa) – double majoring in Psychology and Athletic Training – and went on to receive both her M.S. and Psy.D. in clinical psychology from Pacific University School of Professional Psychology (Hillsboro, Oregon). She completed her internship at Brigham Young University (Provo, Utah) and her postdoctoral fellowship at Lehigh University (Bethlehem, Pennsylvania). From 2018-2024, Dr. C served as the first full-time sport psychologist at Wake Forest University Athletics, building the sport psychology department and improving relationships between athletics and mental health. At NCSU, Dr. C oversees the continuing growth and maintenance of an impactful Mental Health & Performance Psychology Program. In addition to her administrative responsibilities, Dr. C works with individuals, teams, and coaches through an acceptance and commitment therapy lens to enhance holistic well-being and improve performance. Dr. C is certified and licensed to work with individuals and groups on performance enhancement and mental health concerns. She enjoys working with student-athletes on peak performance, eating/body image concerns, substance use, injury recovery, and adjustment to life changes.
