Heather Geppi

Biography

Burnham begins her first season as an assistant women's lacrosse at McDaniel in 2023. She brings a diverse background of experience and skill sets. Following her graduation from local Winters Mill High School, Burnham attended Messiah University where she not only majored in Psychology, but was also a standout Goalie in lacrosse. During her time at Messiah, she helped lead them to an Elite Eight appearance in the 2020-2021 season, earning national recognition in a season where she recorded a perfect 12-0 record, totaled 63 saves, and had a save percentage of .457. Burnham also has experience mentoring younger student-athletes through internships with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). Here, she was able to mentor younger student athletes to help further develop their character, athletic involvement, and skills. She also helped to organize and lead ministry-related events for players and coaches on a local, national, and international level. In addition to her internship opportunities with the FCA, Burnham also spent some time as an intern for the Dauphin County Criminal Investigation Division. Here, she was able to gain experience in forensics, documentation, and effective means of communication.
