Chris Rogers enters his 17th season as the head men's basketball coach at Marymount and is the fourth and winningest coach in program history. Under his leadership, the Saints have won three straight Atlantic East Conference Championships and made multiple NCAA Tournament appearances. Prior to Marymount, Rogers was the head assistant coach at Franklin & Marshall College, where he gained valuable experience under Glenn Robinson, the winningest coach in NCAA Division III men's basketball. In five seasons at F&M, the Diplomats won two regular season Centennial Conference championships and advanced to the D-III Final Four in 2008-09. Before that, Rogers was the head assistant at Lebanon Valley College for three seasons, where the Dutchmen won the 2003-04 ECAC title. Rogers was a four-year letter winner in basketball at Penn State University (1992-1996) and was named a Big Ten Conference Scholar-Athlete in 1996. During his time at Penn State, he played for several coaches who went on to prominent positions, including Bruce Parkhill, Jerry Dunn, Ed DeChellis, Frank Haith, and Mark Schmidt. Rogers holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology/Health Education from Penn State and a Master of Science in Sport and Athletic Administration from West Chester University.
