Sarah Rech joined the Kent State women’s lacrosse program as an assistant coach in February 2025. In her first season as an assistant coach, Rech helped the team post six wins, garnering three All-MAC selections and a MAC All-Freshman Team honoree. The team's five non-conference wins in 2025 are the highest mark in program history. Rech played for the Akron women’s lacrosse program from 2019 to 2024, playing on the Zips’ inaugural team and serving as a team captain at the end of her tenure. Throughout her collegiate playing career, Rech also served as head coach of Maxim Lacrosse Club in Cleveland and Palms Lacrosse Club in Tampa. Additionally, she was an assistant coach for Pittsburgh Premier Lacrosse from 2022 to 2024.
