In her first three seasons at K-State, Gilliam served as an assistant coach on Mittie’s staff, then transitioned to the Director of Recruiting Operations for the next four seasons and then served the last three seasons as an assistant coach. Gilliam’s responsibilities include recruiting evaluation, game plan preparation and player development. Since coming to K-State, Gilliam has helped lead the program to nine postseason appearances including six NCAA Tournaments. Prior to coming to Manhattan, she served on Mittie’s coaching staff for two seasons while he was at TCU and was also a four-year letterwinner as a player for Mittie with the Horned Frogs. During her time at TCU, Gilliam was promoted to assistant coach prior to the start of the 2012-13 season and served two seasons as an assistant coach on Mittie’s staff in Fort Worth. Prior to her promotion, Gilliam served as the Horned Frogs’ director of operations for two seasons. In addition to her coaching duties at K-State, Haliburton is also responsible for recruiting evaluation, game plan preparation and player development. She is also the team’s liaison to Fort Riley. Prior to her promotion to an assistant coach at Kansas State, Haliburton served as the program’s Director of Student-Athlete Development for two seasons. In the 2016-17 season, Haliburton was a member of the UC Irvine women’s basketball coaching staff as an assistant coach. Prior to her stint at UC Irvine, Haliburton was the director of basketball operations at Utah State for three seasons. Haliburton was a 2008 graduate of Oral Roberts, where she played basketball for current Utah State head coach Jerry Finkbeiner. She graduated from Oral Roberts with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and advertising. Falco is responsible for a number of duties within the program including: creation of recruiting itineraries, recruiting mailings and correspondence, on-campus recruiting logistics, player relations including player wellness and USA Basketball liaison. She also is responsible for K-State’s non-conference scheduling and will also assist in game preparation and scouting. During her time with the Wildcats, Falco has helped the program to two NCAA Tournaments including a second round appearance in 2024 and the program’s first trip to the Sweet 16 in 23 years in 2025. She has aided the program for the 2025-26 season by helping bring in the first top-10 recruiting class in program history according to ESPN.com with the signings of Jordan Speiser (No. 16), Aniya Foy (No. 47) and Brandie Harrod (No. 58). Nicholson’s responsibilities will include: direct and oversee leadership developement for staff and players, handle advance scouting and analytics, evaluatuion of practice and reports, development of recruiting plans, assist in on-campus recruiting, assist the head coach in alumni and fan engagement and coordination of pregame and postgame season ticket holder events. Before moving to the Little Apple, Nicholson was the top assistant coach at Central Missouri and worked with the guards. During his time in Warrensburg, Nicholson helped the Jennies to a 161-53 (.752) overall record, the 2018 NCAA Division II National Championship, a 2021 NCAA Division II Final Four appearance, two MIAA regular season titles and one MIAA postseason crown. Nicholson, the 2021 WBCA National Assistant Coach of the Year, helped in the development of three-time All-American Paige Redmond as well as All-Americans Morgan Fleming and Megan Skaggs.
