Gabrielle Calloway returned to her alma mater in 2025 as assistant coach. A four-year player and team captain and two-year MVP for the Pirates. In 2021, she was presented with the Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholarship Award. She received the Golden Rule Award from the Hampton Student-Athletic Advisory Committee in 2022. Calloway finished her career with 695 kills, 714 digs, and 76 service aces. For four years, she assisted the Williamsburg Volleyball Club. In 2022, Calloway is a two-time Hampton graduate. She earned her bachelor's degree in Health Sciences and was awarded her master's degree in Sports Administration from Hampton in 2023. An active member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, she married Katiso Tlelima on May 24, 2025.
