Nate Davis

Biography

Nate Davis is the head coach of the Gettysburg women's basketball program, entering his 11th season in 2025-26. He holds a career record of 286-99 (.743) in 15 seasons as a head basketball coach, including 207-47 (.815) in 10 campaigns at Gettysburg. Prior to joining Gettysburg, Davis guided the women's hoops program at Eastern for five years, posting a record of 79-52 and twice earning Freedom Conference Coach of the Year honors. In 2014-15, he led Eastern to a school-record 22 wins and the program's first NCAA Division III Championship appearance. At Gettysburg, Davis has established himself as one of the most successful coaches in program history. Under his guidance, the Bullets have won five Centennial Conference Championships (2017-18, 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24, 2024-25), made seven NCAA tournament appearances in eight consecutive seasons, and won at least 20 games in eight straight campaigns. Davis was named CC Coach of the Year twice (2017-18, 2021-22) and D3hoops.com Region V Coach of the Year in 2024-25. His 2024-25 team set a program record with 28 victories and advanced to the national quarterfinals for the first time in school history. Davis also served as head coach of the Gettysburg men's golf program from 2019-21, capturing the 2019 Centennial Conference Championship and earning two-time CC Coach of the Year honors.
