Overall Collegiate Coaching Record: 237-128-40 (23 seasons) Georgia Southern Coaching Record: 38-30-12 (4.5 seasons) Chris Adams begins his fifth full season at the helm of Georgia Southern women's soccer in the Fall of 2025. With a roster featuring only four seniors and six juniors out of the 28 players, the Eagles experienced growing pains in 2024, but still tallied some key results. The Eagles went 6-11-2 overall but notched a thrilling 2-1 win over Sun Belt third-place finisher South Alabama. The other five wins for the Eagles on the year all came by shutout. Two Eagles earned All-Sun Belt Conference honors - senior midfielder/forward Smith Cathey and freshman defender Claire Casey, and the team once again had a strong performance in the classroom with an overall 355 GPA for the 2024-25 academic year. Georgia Southern once again set program bests during the 2023 campaign, going 12-6-1 with a program-best RPI of 47 late in the campaign. The Eagles delivered several key wins during the season, including a 2-1 victory at ACC foe Miami on August 27 and a 1-0 victory at Big Sky champion Montana on September 10. Georgia Southern advanced to the semifinals of the 2023 Sun Belt Conference tournament in a thrilling PK shootout over ULM and closed out the regular season with a seven-match winning streak, the longest for the Eagles since 2000. Seniors Sade Heinrichs and Simone Timm earned first team All-Sun Belt honors, while Heinrichs capped an outstanding career with United Soccer
