Bailey Pearlman joined the Florida Atlantic volleyball coaching staff as an assistant coach in February 2025. Pearlman arrives in Boca Raton after working as an administrator and coach with Tribe Volleyball Club, and as an advanced placement teacher at Pompano Beach High School. As a coach with Tribe Volleyball Club, Pearlman assisted with day-to-day club operations. She has experience coaching elite level teams from ages 13 to 18, with duties ranging from planning practice to developing offensive and defensive systems. Pearlman, a native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was a four-year volleyball player at the University of Delaware. She was a right-side hitter and recorded 570 kills during her career, and led the conference in aces per set during her senior campaign. Pearlman was recognized on the dean’s list and Eastern College Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll every year of her collegiate career. Pearlman earned her Master of Education in secondary education from Florida Atlantic in May 2023.

Chuck Amshoff joined the FAU coaching staff in the summer of 2014 and was elevated to the role of associate head coach in the summer of 2019. Prior to joining the Owls, Amshoff spent a year at Rollins College. While at Rollins, he helped guide the Tars to a 2nd round NCAA Tournament appearance and had a player earned AVCA All-American honors. Before joining Rollins, Amshoff was the head coach at Union College (Ky.) where he led the Bulldogs to a 37-34 record in two seasons. In his first year at Union, Amshoff and his team captured the Appalachian Athletic Conference regular-season championship after posting a record of 20-17. During the 2019 season, Amshoff helped the Owls extend their home winning streak to 21, the second longest active streak in the nation. Four FAU players were named all-conference and Zuri Smith was named Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year. FAU also swept Marshall in the first round of the C-USA tournament, its first conference tournament win since 2006. In 2018, he helped the Owls to a perfect 14-0 record at home, extending its school record home winning streak to 15 including a defeat of regular season champion Rice as FAU reached the C-USA Tournament for the fifth year in a row. Additionally, four FAU players were named All Conference USA, Ivone Martinez earned C-USA Setter of the Year and Martinez, Sigourney Kame and Massiel Matos named the AVCA All Region Team.
