Farmingdale State College Men's Soccer

Chuck Schimpf began coaching at Farmingdale State in the fall of 2003. The two-time Skyline Conference Coach of the Year (2022, 2023) has coached the Rams to at least the semifinals round of the Skyline Conference Championship in all of the last four seasons, and has mentored five All-Region standouts, four Skyline Players of the Year and one Skyline Rookie of the Year during his tenure at FSC. Prior to Farmingdale, he was the Head Coach at Suffolk Community College - Western Campus for five years. During that time, Suffolk-West was ranked nationally in the NJCAA each of his five years, including a No. 2 ranking in 1999. He was named both the NJCAA and the National Soccer Coaches Athletic Association (NSCAA) Coach of the Year. Before Suffolk-West, Coach Schimpf was an assistant coach at Kings Point, Suffolk-Selden and Stony Brook University. Coach Schimpf is a former professional soccer player in the United Soccer League (Buffalo Storm - 1984) and the Major Indoor Soccer League (New York Express - 1985-1986). He is a graduate of Southern Connecticut State University, where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education.
