Cody Terrell

Biography

Cody Terrell joined Duke Athletics in 2022 as an Equipment Operations Manager. He oversees the maintenance, distribution and inventory of equipment and apparel for women's lacrosse and women's soccer, ensuring their optimal readiness for both practice and competition. Prior to Duke, Terrell was the Head Equipment Manager at Stetson University beginning in July 2021. In this role, he managed the equipment needs for 18 Division I sports, overseeing orders and budgets for the entire athletic department. Additionally, he led the day-to-day operations of the Stetson football program and supervised a student staff assisting with equipment across all sports. Initially at Stetson, Terrell worked in Facilities and Operations, ensuring the smooth setup and running of facilities on game days. In 2020, he transitioned to Equipment Room Assistant Supervisor, responsible for nine sports and a key player in managing a demanding spring season involving 18 sports concurrently. Terrell holds a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Science in Sport Management from the University of Florida.
