Gabriel Williams

Biography

Gabriel Williams serves as Duke football's character coach and team chaplain through Triangle FCA. Williams began with Blue Devil football in August 2024. In his current role, Williams engages with Duke football coaches, student-athletes and their families to foster gospel-centered relationships and offer spiritual support. He aims to equip these individuals and families with the necessary tools, knowledge and resources to navigate the high demands of football and their personal lives along with empowering them to be an example for others as they grow in their faith, improve athletically and build relationships with others. Williams, who has served with FCA for more than 15 years, was introduced to FCA while playing basketball at Wake Tech. He was invited to be a huddle leader at an FCA middle school retreat and to serve on a mission trip with FCA in Barbados.
