Head Coach
John Wristen began his CSU Pueblo tenure as the program's head football coach following its reestablishment in 2008 and retired from that position at the conclusion of the 2023 season. During his time leading the Pack football program, Wristen guided CSU Pueblo to the 2014 NCAA Division II National Championship, seven RMAC titles, and eight NCAA Division II Playoff appearances. He earned six RMAC Coach of the Year honors, compiled a 131-36 overall record, and ranks eighth all-time in Division II history in winning percentage (.784).
