Biography

Recruiting Areas: District of Columbia/DMV, Maryland, Oregon, Washington Eddy Morrissey joined the Brown staff in 2024 and serves as the Run Game Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach. Morrissey returned to Brown for his second stint on College Hill after previously serving as the Co-Offensive Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach at Merrimack. In his second season at Brown in 2025, Morrissey's offensive line helped Brown rank eighth in the nation and first in the Ivy League with 283.6 passing yards per game. In his first year back at Brown in 2024, Morrissey had two players earn All-Ivy honors in left guard Jack Connolly and left tackle Hayden Bozich, while right tackle Beau Smith earned FCS Football Central Freshman All-America accolades. The Brown offensive line helped the Bears lead the league in total offense per game (421.5) and passing yards per game (290.4), protected All-Ivy quarterback Jake Willcox and helped tailback Matt Childs earn Ivy League Rookie of the Year. In his return to Brown, Morrissey rejoined head coach James Perry for the fourth time in his career, having coached along Perry at Princeton, and served as the offensive line coach under Perry at Bryant in 2017. He was previously a member of Brown’s staff in the late 1990s when Perry was the Bears’ starting quarterback.
